Patients travel to our Frisco practice from Plano and throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex for our science-backed treatment options and unsurpassed care.
Our access to diverse treatments—such as advanced body contouring procedures, noninvasive skin rejuvenation therapies, and cutting-edge plastic surgery options—complements our medically supervised weight loss solutions, including compounded GLP-1 medications and ShapeScale body scanning.
This multidisciplinary approach allows us to address both internal health and external aesthetics, tailoring plans to enhance body composition, skin quality, and overall appearance. By combining these modalities, we offer a comprehensive transformation, supporting patients’ physical, emotional, and aesthetic well-being in a cohesive, patient-centered journey.
Program Components
The weight loss program includes:
- Monthly doctor/RN visits for medical oversight and progress monitoring to ensure long term success.
- 24-hour support from trained medical professionals to ensure patient safety and efficacy
- Weigh-ins with ShapeScale 3D body scanning to track body composition
- Monthly injections using either Semaglutide or Tirzepatide, based on a 4-week month
- Free supplies, such as alcohol pads and syringes, are included with every order
Together, these components create a supportive, medically guided path to sustainable weight loss and improved overall wellness.
What Is Semaglutide?
Semaglutide, used in the treatment of diabetes, is also an effective tool for weight loss and weight management. It is most effective as part of a comprehensive weight management program, including a reduced-calorie diet and increased physical activity.
What Is Tirzepatide?
Like semaglutide, tirzepatide is an injectable treatment designed to target weight loss and control blood sugar. Tirzepatide combines two hormones, GLP-1 and glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP), to influence the release of insulin and glucagon. This increases your metabolism to promote weight loss.
What Is the Difference Between Semaglutide and Tirzepatide?
While both medications support weight loss and improved metabolic health, they work in slightly different ways. Here’s a quick comparison to help you understand how they differ:
- Treatment formulas: Semaglutide is primarily available as an injectable treatment whereas tirzepatide may be available as an injectable treatment or as an oral treatment.
- Frequency of treatment: Semaglutide is usually taken weekly, but may be administered daily, depending on your needs and the treatment formulation. Tirzepatide is typically administered weekly.
- Different functionalities: Semaglutide acts as a GLP-1 agonist to help manage blood sugar levels by triggering insulin and slowing the process of emptying your stomach, making you feel fuller, longer. Tirzepatide also acts as a GLP-1 agonist as well as a GIP receptor agonist, which means it also reduces insulin sensitivity, reduces the amount of glucose, and stomach acid production.
Your provider will help determine which medication is best suited to your goals, health history, and how your body responds over time.
