What is FaceTite?

FaceTite is a minimally invasive treatment that tightens skin and melts fat to create a tauter and slimmer appearance. It’s often combined with Morpheus8 fractional RF microneedling in a treatment called EmbraceRF, which delivers even more dramatic results.

How does FaceTite work?

The FaceTite device features an external electrode as well as a thin internal probe that’s inserted under the skin through a tiny, scarless hole. We use a local anesthetic with the option of Pro-Nox™ (laughing gas) to make sure you are comfortable and relaxed throughout the treatment.

The external probe runs along the skin and attracts the heat generated by the internal probe. This heat melts fat and stimulates new collagen production in the skin. Treatments typically take about 45 minutes.

What does FaceTite treat?

FaceTite is an excellent treatment for:

• Excess fat on the lower face and neck
• A “double chin”
• Jowls
• Lower face laxity
• Neck skin laxity or a “turkey neck”

Who makes a good candidate for FaceTite?

Women and men in their 30s to 50s with good skin elasticity and mild to moderate skin laxity make the best candidates. People with more advanced concerns may be better suited for a surgical facelift and neck lift.

What is recovery like after FaceTite?

It’s normal to have some redness, swelling, and soreness for a few days following your treatment. Most people only need 2 or 3 days away from work and social obligations to recover.

When will I see the results from FaceTite?

Within about a week, most patients notice some slimming and tightening that gradually improves for 3 to 6 months as new collagen is created.

Is recovery painful?

Treated areas typically feel numb for about 2 weeks, so discomfort is minimal during recovery.

How long do you wear a compression garment after FaceTite?

To minimize swelling and create firm contours, patients should wear the compression garment at all times for at least 3 days, then at night for the next 2 weeks.

How many FaceTite treatments will I need?

A single treatment is enough to provide satisfying results for most patients.

How long do FaceTite results last?

While experiences vary, the firming and tightening from FaceTite can last from 1 to 5 years; however, the natural aging process will continue. To prolong the life of your results, minimize sun exposure, drink plenty of water, eat right, and don’t smoke. Having periodic skin rejuvenation treatments such as HydraFacials® and Morpheus8 microneedling helps results last as well.
